41607 Gamora BrickHeadz Review!

Hi guys! Today I have a LEGO Infinity War BrickHeadz set review – 41607 Gamora! This is one of the four Infinity War BrickHeadz sets (though there will be a dual pack in the future with Groot and Rocket), and it retails for £9.99 (UK), $9.99 (U.S.), $15.99 (Aus), and $19.99 (NZ). So, Gamora is built around the standard BrickHeadz template, but as always those BrickHeadz with more elaborate hairstyles are more interesting, and that is true here. Just like in the movie, her hair is mostly black but with dark pink highlights at the bottom – though the contrast is more stark on the LEGO version. Just like her minifigure, Gamora has lime green skin. Her eyes are the standard BrickHeadz 1×1 eyes, and she also has a printed 2×3 tile on her forehead to show her silver face markings. Her hair also extends onto the side of her upper face. Her brown jacket is brick-built and has black tailcoats at the back, while the inner black and white shirts are represented by a printed 1x2x2 brick. Gamora comes with a silver minifig katana, which matches the movie character’s weapon.

Gamora can be attached to a 6×6-sized base made from 4 pieces. I welcome the larger-sized bases as this means the BrickHeadz are harder to topple over, though interestingly the printed series number has been dropped – perhaps for the better, but so far LEGO has been very inconsistent with them. I mean, there’s not much else to say about the baseplate or Gamora – like all BrickHeadz, she’s mainly a display piece.

So, that is the 41607 Gamora BrickHeadz! I think this is nice in terms of BrickHeadz quality, but personally I think BrickHeadz are rather oversized – $20 NZD for a small little figure like this is pretty expensive, especially when a little bit more gets you a battle pack like 76101 The Outrider Dropship Attack. Playability also isn’t very good, as BrickHeadz in general are practically unposeable. However, on the whole, Gamora is one of the better BrickHeadz sets so far.

      1. Don’t think so. Went to a couple of shops yesterday for the first time in ages (Target and K-mart) and they had the new sets, but no Brickheadz 😦

Which stores sell them in new zealand? might see if i can find a counterpart in australia.
