LEGO Star Wars 2018 Advent Calendar Revealed!

Hi everyone! Today the 2018 LEGO Star Wars Advent Calendar was revealed!

Well, I don’t like it, so I guess it’s a Sadvent Calendar. 2018 LEGO Star Wars Advent CalendarAT-ACT, Rogue One Landing Shuttle, Endor Speeder Bike, Moisture Vaporator (?), Antoc Merrick, Snowman Helmet Stand, Imperial Troop Transport (Rebels), Weapons rack, Death Trooper, Rathtar (?), Guavian Death Gang Member, TIE Fighter, Naboo Starfighter, Battle Droid, General Grievous Starfighter, Stud Shooter Cannon, Rowan Freemaker, Anakin’s Jedi Starfighter, Luke’s Landspeeder, Rose Tico, The Arrowhead, Republic Fighter Tank, IG-88…. Cloud City? Hmmmmmmmmmm.

So yeah, there’s no special Christmas minifigure, and the only new figure is Antoc Merrick, who doesn’t seem to get the new dual-molded helmets for X-wing Pilots. Boooring!

Anyways, thanks for reading! Let me know what you think in the comments below! 🙂

  1. I like the AT-ACT and the shuttle. The speeder bike looks kinda cute in mini-form, and I have—mixed views—on the Christmas tree thingie that comes after the speeder bike. Too bad Antoc Merrick doesn’t have his helmet. The snowman with the rebel pilot’s helmet looks nice, the troop transport is kinda inaccurate, and the weapons rack is just bland, like all other weapon racks from the Adevent Calendars. Next is just a regular ol’ Death Trooper. I like Death Troopers, so he is welcome. I’ll call him Steve the Death Trooper. He hates pickles on his hamburger. 🤣
After Steve is some type of Rathtar. It looks cute. After that is a Guavian Death Gang soldier. I’ll call him Bob. He is Steve’s long-lost brother. You can make Bob pet the rathtar, or make the rathtar chase Bob. After that is a cool-looking First Order TIE mini-build. And after the TIE is—drumroll please—a Naboo Starfighter! After that is a plain ol’ battle droid. They’re good for army-building, at least. You can make the Naboo Starfighter run over the droid like crazy. After that is a mini General Grievous Starfighter, which is cool. After that is a—stud shooter—cannon. I guess you can make Steve or Bob or the battle droid man the cannon, and shoot studs all over the place. Next is Rowan Freemaker, in his Season Two outfit, which I like better than the Season 1 outfit. Yes, he came in the Tracker 1 set, but that was a big set, and it had more common minifigs in it, such as Emperor Palpatine. This is a much cheaper way to get Rowan. And you can just Bricklink the MOC Hunter Droid. 😉
Yes! Anakin’s Jedi Starfighter! This was a small hint to me that we would get an Anakin’s Jedi Starfighter set in 2018! And look at us now! The new LEGO Star Wars summer sets have been out in stores for three days already! Next is Luke’s Landspeeder, which looks cute. Rose is just Rose, but this is a little bit cheaper than her only other appearance (for this variant, anyway), which is in the Resistance Transport Pod. After that is the Arrowhead. Rowan can sit on the Arrowhead and try to drive it around. After that is the Republic Fighter Tank, which looks okay. IG-88 was in a set with three other Bounty Hunters, so he isn’t really needed, but he IS welcome. Last is…a mini Cloud City. Hmmmmmmmmmmmmm. 🤓

I disagree with VaderFan. Personally, I think this is a good Advent Calendar. But that’s just my silly opinion.

  2. I’ve view it toys r us Kuala Lumpur today. Agree with your review that it’s not a good selection and Christmas theme mini figures is a must for every advent calendar.
