71021-2 Brick Suit Guy CMF Review!

Hey everyone! Today I have another CMF Series 18 Review! This is 71021-2 Brick Suit Guy, the second minifigure in the lineup.

The Brick Suit Guy wears a bright red LEGO outfit, which is fitting as one of the most iconic colors of the LEGO Brick is red. I initially expected the 2×3 brick outfit would be slotted over a torso, when in fact it actually replaces a torso piece and connects directly to the head and legs! I like the molded studs on the front which actually do work – you can connect pieces to it if you like. His hands can be posed as you like and the legs can be moved too, though they have restricted articulation in comparison to normal LEGO figures. His head and hairpiece is new, and I like them both – the hairpiece in particular is not very common and this is the first time it has appeared in dark brown.

The back of the figure has a 2×3-sized anti-stud area, allowing you to attach studded pieces to his back as well. This means you can sandwich him into your creations if you like!

The Brick Suit Guy’s accessory is a simple blue 1×1 plate. This can be attached to his torso piece, and since Brick Suit Girl in this series wears a blue outfit, this plate provides a nice contrast and links the two minifigures together.

71021 Brick Suit Guy

All in all, I think this minifigure is exceptional. I loved the idea when the rumor first surfaced of a brick suit guy, though I admit he is not exactly like how I imagined he would be. Still, he is a very good minifigure and I highly recommend him, especially since he wears one of the most iconic LEGO designs ever – the LEGO Brick itself.
