Hey everybody! Today I have another LEGO Series 18 Review, this time of 71021-3 Brick Suit Girl! This minifigure is the counterpart to 71021-2 Brick Suit Guy, and they wear very similar outfits. Can she set herself apart? Let’s find out!
The Brick Suit Girl uses the same torso piece as the Brick Suit Guy with the special molded LEGO brick. However, I do not think this is an issue at all as I welcome the consistency and the piece itself is perfect. She does set herself apart, though, as her outfit is blue instead of red like the Brick Suit Guy. Her legs are unprinted but I do not mind, since it fits the design and the torso piece is the main highlight. Her head print is new, with a smiling expression that can be easily reused, and her hairpiece is the Wyldstyle hair recolored in dark brown – a brand new color for the piece which I think is great, though it has previously been recolored to blonde for Series 17’s Butterfly Girl.
There’s not much to see on the back of the Brick Suit Girl, though once again she has anti-stud attachments on the back of her torso piece so you can attach other LEGO bricks to her if you like.
As for accessories, the Brick Suit Girl comes with a 1×1 red plate. This echoes how the red-colored Brick Suit Guy came with a 1×1 blue plate, an I think this simple accessory works well and helps to create some nice contrast between the two figures.
Once again, the Brick Suit Girl is a great figure. Instead of focusing on the negative side of how the mold is reused for the torso, LEGO cleverly made Brick Suit Girl and Brick Suit Guy’s designs complement each other, encouraging consumers to buy both and put them together as nice display pieces. I for one like this figure too, and definitely recommend it.
