Hi guys! Today I have another LEGO Series 18 Collectable Minifigure Review! This is 71021-7 Dragon Suit Guy, who has arrived at the costume party complete with his big red outfit. Let’s see how good of a figure he is!
The minifigure is male, and wears a bright red dragon outfit which bears a striking resemblance to the dragon included in 70403 Dragon Mountain. I really like the homage and I think this minifigure looks good, with a cool new molded dragon head. His torso has some nice printing on the front and sides, depicting black scales. His feet are relatively plain but do have some toe printing to show the dragon’s claws. The minifigure head itself has black eyebrows and a smiling expression, along with some freckles.
However, the other side of his head has an angry expression, which definitely seems more suited to a fiery dragon! The Dragon Suit Guy has molded wings attached at the neck and a molded tail attached at the waist, though I don’t believe either of them are new molds. No accessories for him, but I think that’s fine.
All in all I like this figure. The costume design is a cool homage to a previous LEGO Castle Dragon, and even by himself the figure looks good. The legs are a bit plain but that is my only main complaint, and the head print is nice.
