75217 Imperial Conveyex Transport and 75219 Imperial AT-Hauler Revealed!

Hey guys! Today the final two Solo: A Star Wars Story LEGO sets were revealed, which will be released together with 75215 Cloud Rider Swoop Bikes in August (I believe). These are sets 75217 Imperial Conveyex Transport and 75219 Imperial AT-Hauler, both of which are based on the heist scene from Solo in Vandor.

75219 Imperial AT-HaulerThis set comes with the AT-Hauler seen in Solo. I find it odd that it’s a white color, as I thought the ship in the movie was undeniably light grey. I dunno. Maybe LEGO had inaccurate concept art or maybe my eyes and the LEGO designers’ eyes perceive color differently. Here’s another shot of the set, basically the box art minus the background. It comes with five figures — furcoat Qi’Ra (who doesn’t belong), Val, two helmetless Dryden Enforcers (I like the different face prints but I would have liked them to have their helmets, and they don’t belong in this scene), plus Rio Durant, who has two great new molds for his four arms. His head mold is a bit odd though. The AT-Hauler can switch from flight mode to landing mode by moving the wings up and down. This is accurate. Here is the model in its landed position. Looks a bit like Kylo Ren’s Shuttle if you ask me. Apparently the rumored price for this is $100 US, which I think is absolutely insane. That better not be real.

75217 Imperial Conveyex Transport75217 Imperial Conveyex TransportHere is the other set, the Conveyex. The train in the movie is basically symmetrical from top to bottom with the train track running through the middle. This set only replicates the top half. I think it looks a bit stupid like this, but then again it would’ve been practically impossible for LEGO to do both the top and bottom of the train so ah well. I feel like the box shows how undersized the train is, and I think the minifigures look a bit dumb when standing on top. I wish this set was a much larger one, but oh well, it is what it is. Sorry about the blurry image. Here’s the back of the box, which shows that the rear cargo section can be carried by the AT-Hauler set. The battle is taking place! Four crates of coaxium in the rear section are the target. The Imperials get a pilot seat in the front train car, along with a stud shooting turret at the top. The five minifigures are goggled Chewbacca, goggled Han, two Range Troopers, and the Imperial Conveyex Gunner. I think Han and Chewie look okay, though not amazing. The Range Troopers are fine I guess, glad they got a new helmet mold but I think it’s too oversized, and I wish LEGO would’ve included some sort of fur coat beyond the tiny cloth piece at their neck. A new piece representing their magnetic boots would’ve been great too. The final minifigure looks okay I guess, with a gunmetal grey outfit, a black neck fur cloth, and a Death Star Gunner helmet. Interesting combo.

Anyway, this set will apparently cost $90 USD, which I also think is very expensive. Ah well :\

Thanks for reading! Let me know what you think of these new sets in the comments below! 🙂

      1. Here’s my top five minifigures from these two sets:

        1. Rio Durant (he has the cool double-armed torso)
        2. Range Troopers (of course)
        3. Goggled Chewbacca (he looks cute with the goggles on his minifigure)
        4. Val (though I wish her scarf was physical, like with the Jay Walker CMF LEGO Ninjago Movie minifigure)
        5. Imperial Snow-Gunner (did you know these guys apparently appeared briefly in Solo’s train heist scene, and they were manning the Imperial dropship that dropped the Range Troopers onto the train in the movie)

  1. Thanks for the article. These sets look interesting but I haven’t bought any of the Solo sets yet, other than the battle pack.

I greatly enjoyed the film and want most of the minifigs but the prices put me off. I guess I’m holding out for a decent discount.

      1. You know, after I pre-reviewed the AT-Hauler, I actually think it’s a good set. The minifigures are great, just…some of them have minor inaccuracies and some don’t belong in this particular scene from the movie. Also, the AT-Hauler itself looks very nice…if it was a shade of grey. White is okay, I guess. 🙃

      1. Yeah, the Conveyex is a little bit on the undersized side, and the box art shows that. 😬
They don’t have to make an underside to the train. All they could’ve done would be just to add a few more train carts…

But to me, the minifigures on top of the train don’t look so silly.

          1. The battle has begun! The interior is fairly nice, with most of the technic pieces being black or brown instead of a yucky red or yellow. The stud shooting turret was not in the film, but looks okay, I guess.

            1. 1. Goggled Chewbacca looks cute. He’s nothing special, but it still a cute-looking minifigure. Also, his gun is more accurate than the standard blaster rifle he had in the Kessel Run Millennium Falcon set.
              2. Goggled Han. Ah yes. His head is new, and I like it. The torso and leg printing is also nice.
3 and 4. RANGE TROOPER MINIFIGURES! YES! Their new head mold is welcome, though it is a bit oversized. I wish there was something to represent their magnetic boots, but oh well.
              5. Hmm. An Imperial gunner with a coat on. Interesting. I think I saw these guys in Solo for, like, three or four seconds. Well, very interesting combo.

              1. Overall, a very interesting set. I’m not a Star Wars fan, but I’ve seen the original trilogy and the sequels and the spinoff films. I decided to skip the prequels. 😛
I think I’ll get this. Maybe. Your thoughts, Supreme Leader?
