The box is absolutely massive, and the back shows off all the details and play features.

Here are all the contents of this LEGO Jurassic Park set. There are two large builds and a selection of six LEGO minifigures.
LEGO Jurassic Park John Hammond Minifigure
The first minifigure in the set is John Hammond, the owner of Jurassic Park. This minifigure is new and exclusive, with a tan fedora hat, a white outfit with short sleeves, and a kind old face printed on the head.
LEGO Jurassic Park Alan Grant Minifigure
The second minifigure is Alan Grant. This minifigure is not new, having previously appeared inΒ 75932 Jurassic Park Velociraptor Chase. He has a tan fedora hat, a smiling expression, and a light blue shirt with printed red scarf.
LEGO Jurassic Park Ellie Sattler Minifigure
The third minifigure is Ellie Sattler, who also has previously appeared in 75932 Jurassic Park Velociraptor Chase. She has a blonde ponytail, a double-sided head (smiling and scared), and a pink outfit. Her legs are dual-molded to depict her brown boots, and she’s a pretty detailed minifigure overall.
LEGO Jurassic Park Jeff Goldblum Minifigure
The fourth minifigure is none other than Ian Malcolm, played by the legendary Jeff Goldblum! LEGO has designed this minifigure in its full shirtless glory which is awesome to see. We have gotten Ian Malcolm in minifigure form before but that was a different variant in a Bricktober Pack so it’s nice to get him here again. He has a messy black hairpiece, a double-sided head, and good printing on the torso and left leg.
LEGO Jurassic Park Ray Arnold Minifigure
The fifth minifigure is LEGO Ray Arnold, who was played by another legend: Samuel L. Jackson. He has a short black hairpiece, a double-sided head, along with a long white labcoat that continues down to the legs (thanks to dual-molding). His facial expressions are smiling and scared, and he has printed golden glasses.
LEGO Jurassic Park Dennis Nedry Minifigure
The final minifigure is Dennis Nedry. Nedry has the same black hairpiece as Ray Arnold, along with a new double-sided head that has an evil smile along with a scared expression (plus some blue blood splashed onto him). He wears a yellow shirt over a sand blue printed shirt, and has dark tan unprinted legs.
LEGO Jurassic Park Minifigures
Given this set’s unusually large size, the set also includes a minifigure stand. The stand can display all six minifigures and there’s a stickered plaque behind it. There’s also some foliage with a baby dinosaur.
LEGO Jurassic Park T-Rex
Now, on to the actual builds included. The main build is this massive T-Rex, which is the largest official LEGO dinosaur in history. It has a brown and dark tan color scheme with dark grey limbs.
LEGO Jurassic Park T-Rex
This LEGO T-Rex measures a whopping 69cm long from head to tail, and stands at about 22 cm tall.

Lots of different types of slopes and plates have been used to great effect to create the rounded look of the T-Rex.

The T-Rex’s head looks fabulous. It has yellow eyes, sharp white teeth, and a bright red tongue. The way the snout is built looks fantastic too.
LEGO Jurassic Park Gates
The second build in the set is the iconic massive gates to Jurassic Park. I am no expert on Jurassic Park but the general consensus seems to be that this build is too large for minifigure scale. Nonetheless, it looks very impressive and the shaping seems to be right to me.

The back of the gate actually has quite a bit of space, so the LEGO designers have cleverly incorporated mini scenes in to the build! Check out all these play features below.

There appears to be a geared mechanism to open and close the massive brown doors. This will likely be a very pleasing play feature to operate and watch in real life.

75936 Jurassic Park T-Rex Rampage Box

On the whole, I think this LEGO set 75936 Jurassic Park T-Rex Rampage should be a big crowd pleaser. LEGO fans have waited a long time to see an epic LEGO Jurassic Park set and that is finally here! I am a big fan of how the T-Rex and the iconic gates look in LEGO form.

However, the set is not without its flaws. I find the price to be a little bit on the high side, though once you consider the piece count and the overall size of both builds it’s not too ridiculous. I would have also liked to see the iconic green and red Ford Explorer from Jurassic Park in LEGO form.

  1. I’ve already seen this and commented my thoughts elsewhere, but man, this is cool πŸ˜€ Being the huge Jurassic Park fanatic that I am, this will definitely be on my most wanted sets list for this year! πŸ™‚

Although this is awesome, the set isn’t without its flaws. I know many Lego fans, including me, wanted a Visitors Center, but that never happened. Maybe in the future. Also, a Ford Explorer should have been included to justify the price. Lastly, the gate is just a tad oversized, though it is actually pretty close to minifigure scale.

Oh yea, one more thing! RobertMuldoon and Donald Gennaro should have been included instead ofAlan and Ellie. I get that Lego wanted to include most of the main characters, but as I already have last years Jurassic Park set, I would’ve liked to see new characters in minifigure form.

Either way, I love this set and can’t wait to get it! That Malcolm fig is perfection, honestly πŸ˜‚

  2. Oh, and the brick built T-Rex is pretty neat. I wanna get more Jurassic Park/World sets, as the only Dinos I have are the newer orange T-Rex, the tan T-Rex, the Carnotaurus, the Jurassic Park Velociraptor, the lime green Dilophasaurus, two of the Dino 2012 Gallimimus, a classic, static, one piece pteranodon, and a bunch of baby dinos πŸ™‚

  3. I liked the idea of a Visitors Centre as I wouldn’t want to buy it but they release this beauty instead with a bunch of JP minifigs and now I must have it!

    Flipping heck Lego!
